Christ Church Cookbook
In 1992, Christ Church, Frederica published its first cookbook. It is a delightful compilation of favorite recipes of the parishioners and chefs from some of the local restaurants. It also has recipes from some of the former first ladies of the United States; including Lady Bird Johnson, Betty Ford, Rosalyn Carter and Barbara Bush.
This 300 page book, which includes a brief history of our church's historic past, utilizes 4-color photographs of our stained glass windows as dividers. It has a comb binding with hard wrapped cover which features a watercolor scene, painted especially for us by one of our parishioners.
It has proven to be a popular souvenir for visitors to St. Simons. We have received compliments from cookbook collectors saying that, of their collection, the Christ Church, Frederica Cookbook is their favorite!
The price of the cookbook is $20.00, plus $3.50 shipping and handling. If you are a Georgia resident, please include $1.20 for sales tax. The proceeds from the sale of this book are being used for the glory of God in our parish, community, nation and world.
