The Ski trip is only 2 days away! YAHHHOOOOO!
We have 23 skiers signed up & the snow conditions are 'white and cold'...what?!?...find the 'real' 3-day weather report here - or view the webcam's at 'The WOLF' for the current report ---
It is forecasted to be cold when we arrive on Friday night, so pack a warm jacket somewhere that is easy to grab! Here is the ski trip packing list for a 'complete' overview of what you should bring if we were taking a ski trip to a remote wilderness area...but it's what i found easily on the internet and thought, "hey, that'll work!"

Here is our trip schedule
- Drop off on Friday, Feb. 10th beginning at 2:30 pm @ the Harris Teeter parking lot. Please remember that not all meals are covered, so please send some spending money with your kids if you have not included it in your check - thanks!
- Pull out of Teeter parking area at 3:30 pm
- Dinner along the way
- Arrive @ Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville, NC apx. 10-11pm
- Saturday - UP EARLY (6:30!) & ON THE SLOPES for a AWESOME day of skiing at the WOLF!! No Whining!
- Saturday Night - Trip to Fun Depot - the area's premier fun spot!
- Sunday Breakfast & Devotions w/a view of the Blue Ridge Mtns.
- Hit the road by 10 am
- Eat lunch along the way
- Stop for a quick 'on the road' dinner
- Return to the Teeter apx. 5-6 pm. We will call parents en-route for exact time of arrival.
Leaders-
Donna Davis - Donna Davis, the Director of Chapter Relations for the Southeastern Coastal Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross, Brunswick has graciously volunteered her time to help lead our kids. Donna will join us along with her daughter, Abi (7th grade).

Come find the Baby Jesus and win a prize! Join us at the Parish House at 5:30 pm for a great evening of fun, entertainment and food!!
February 22 - Ash Wednesday
Meet at the Chick-fil-a at 6:30 am - before the 7 am service @ St. Iggy's on Ash Wednesday! Service ends in time to get to school!

sign up now to serve! We will honor the residents who have February B-day's by serving them dinner and B-day cake - come & lend your hands!! Pizza party afterwards for all youth who come to serve.
April - Journey in Faith
youth confirmation class - "Confirm not Conform" is the series & will begin on Monday, April 16th at 4:30 pm - dinner provided. We ask you to join us at 4:30 pm on: April 23 & 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28 & June 4. * Bishop Benhase visits with us on June 10th *
This year will you?...beginning now....Be Faithful in your worship at Christ Church and be working to get down on the field to join our EYC team this summer on our mission trip - REACH ?? If you will dedicate one week of your summer to go on this mission with us, we will give each child who joins in this effort a $200 scholarship towards their mission fee -because there is no greater mission than to REACHout to & to do good for others and we want every one of you with uson this trip.
'Work Party?'...it sounds like an 'oxymoron' but it's really true! - not only does REACH have a mission to help others get back on their feet...it gets you on your feet to help and have fun at the same time- come and find out how you can make a difference for someone else! June 11 - 15 will be VBS (Vacation Bible School). We are looking for teen & adult volunteers! More information will be coming out soon - but we would love to see you here to help make good memories just like you have of summer VBS!!
